01 Who we are
ZaviFinds (“we”, “us”) operates zavifinds.com and sells the products shown on it. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice — the “data controller” in data-protection terms. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and what choices you have. Questions and requests: [email protected].
02 Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the store:
- Order information: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide one, and what you ordered.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider. We receive the result of the payment and limited details such as the card brand and last digits — we never store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, products you looked at and how you arrived at the store — collected with cookies and similar technologies, including through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
- Messages you send us: support emails, returns requests and reviews.
03 How we use it
We use this information to process and deliver your order, take payment, provide support and handle returns, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the store working and secure, understand which products and pages are useful, measure and improve our advertising, show our ads to people who have visited the store or bought similar products, and — only if you have opted in — send you marketing emails that you can unsubscribe from at any time.
04 Who we share it with
We share personal information only with parties who help us run the store, and only as much as they need:
- the supplier or fulfilment partner that prepares and ships your order;
- shipping carriers and customs brokers;
- payment processors and fraud-prevention services;
- hosting, email and customer-support providers;
- analytics and advertising providers — Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising) — which process this data on our behalf and may also use it for their own advertising services under their own privacy policies;
- professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
05 International transfers
Our suppliers, carriers and service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States, Europe and Asia; Google and Meta process data in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred internationally we rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses those providers offer, and we keep the data limited to what the service needs.
06 Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed to run the store; the rest help us understand how the store is used and show our products to people who may want them.
- Essential — always on: keeping your cart and session, remembering the language you chose, and protecting checkout from fraud.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which pages and products are viewed, roughly where visitors come from and how they found the store. We read it in aggregate to improve the store.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) lets us measure our ads and show them to people who have visited the store or bought similar products; other platforms (such as TikTok) may use similar tools when we run campaigns there.
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the cart and checkout need their own cookies to work, but the rest of the store works without them. To limit personalised advertising you can use your Google Ads settings and your Meta ad preferences, as well as any consent choice you have made on this site.
07 How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them to fulfil orders, handle returns and claims, and meet tax and accounting obligations. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for as long as they are useful for handling similar issues. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics, and advertising data according to the settings of the platform that collected it.
08 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or receive a copy in a portable format. Email [email protected] to make a request; we may ask you to verify your identity first. These rights apply to you where the law of your country provides them — for example the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, or the CCPA/CPRA if you are a California resident. We do not treat anyone differently for exercising these rights. You can also ask us to stop using your information for personalised advertising, or limit it yourself through your Google and Meta ad settings.
09 Children
The store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the store changes. The current version is always published on this page with the date shown at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site.
